All about Pearl

LLangybi Pearl was purchased in 2008
Nolan bought her as he thought she was "real quality"
she was in foal to the Sec D cob stallion Brenig Adam.

Lazy days at Trefddyn

The llangybi stud believe "that the general character of the Welsh Cob is strength,
hardiness and agility. The head must show great quality with Pony character,
bold prominent eyes, a broad forehead and neat, well set ears.
The body must be deep, on strong limbs with good
“hard wearing” joints and an abundance of flat bone.
The action must be straight, free and forceful, the knees should be bent
and then the whole foreleg extended from the shoulders as far
forward as possible in all paces, with the hocks well flexed,
producing a powerful leverage"

At Llangybi stud both male and female lines go back to Pentre Eiddwen Comet.
Pearl is a fantastic role model of this definition .
Watching her trotting and extending around the field is a joy she has such power and presence
about her it's quite captivating.

Mel at 1 hr old. Look how mum extends that leg in trot - absolutely to die for.

In 2010 her foal was by the Reserve Royal Welsh Senior
stallion Brynithon The Gigalo

He is delightful and hasl been run on as a potential stallion.

He has all the attitude and show quality of his sire and the presence and
power of his dam.

WHAT A COMBINATION!!!

Trefddyn Tegrydd

Teg ( at 4 months) he  has masses of good quality flat bone, a really pretty pony head with lovely little ears.

Brynithon the Gigalo

Pearls 2011 foal was born on the 06/06/2011 by Cascob Jack Flash
he is another stallion who's stock are doing well in the show ring.
This one will follow in their footsteps he is a corker for sure.

A stunning big friendly bay colt with 3 long white socks and a short one
