was purchased to have some fun with over the winter
at the foal shows and to run on as
our future Welsh D stallion prospect.
He will be licensed with the WPCS
during 2012.
Ffranc is out of Malnor Autumn Dawn who herself
is no stranger to the show ring
having come 2nd as a six year old in a very strong barren
mare class at the Royal Welsh show in 2004.
Dawn has great conformation and movement.
Ffranc's dam Dawn was owned by the Batts of The Abergavenny stud
and sold to Dr Etienne Stevens of the Gui nel stud in France in 2007.
She was the 2nd highest priced adult female at the
Autumn Cob sales in 2007 selling at £5,500.
In October 2009 she was returned to Wales in foal to Thorneyside the
Predator and sold for £4,200 to Mr Ieuan Morgan of the Heolas stud
Dawn with her 2009 foal by Brynithon the Invincible
Dawn is the full sister to Malnor Forest King who won the Royal Welsh
stallion class twice - in 2003 and again in 2005.
He also came a very credible 6th in 2008

Thorneyside the Predator Ffrancs sire had been the pride
and joy of the Haniel stud at Malvern he was bought by
Dr Ettienne Stevens and taken back to the Gui nel stud in France
Predator was the 2003 Lampeter Premium Stallion outside Wales.
He produced some very good Cobs for the Haniel stud such as Haniel Nemasis,
Lara Croft and the well know Champion Haniel Cochise who came 2nd at
The RWS in 2009, to name just a few.
Predator was Sired by the 1992 RWS Male Champion Thorneyside Flyer
and out of the great Derwen Telynor's daughter Thorneyside Penny Black.
He has a faultless temperament and is stamping his stock well.
He is also competing in hand and under saddles and is always in the top ribbons.
